Ahilyabhai Holkar - Jamkhed - Maharastra Punyaslok Rajmata Ahilyabhai Holkar, ruled Holkar Dynasty, and Queen of Malwa Kingdom. After her Husband’s and Father In law’s death. She inherited the throne and became one of India’s Greatest Women Rulers. Rajmata Ahilyabhai earned reputation by administering justice fairly during her rule without partiality or partisanship. She also sentenced her own son to Death as he was found guilty of Capital Offense, he was crushed to by an elephant. Rani Ahilyabhai built many temples, Dharamsala sacred sites in Dwaraka, Varanasi, Ujjain, Nasik. She also ordered the rebuilding of temples which were destroyed. She helped widows retain their husband’s property, made sure the widow was allowed to adopt a son. Rahamata also settled a conflict between Bhils and Gonds, she granted them hilly lands. Rani Velu Nachyiar  was Born in Ramanathapuram and was married to Muthuvaduganathaperiya Udaiyathevar.
