A Look at Mughals Lineage: Mughals ruled India for around 300 years since 1526, an unknown fact to many Indians about the  Mughals is that whose lineage did the Mughals follow whether their paternal or maternal. Mughals have  “Mongol”  lineage, yes the name Mughal is derived from “Mongol”, they were the descendants of two Rulers.
