Mughals - The Descendants of Mongols and Timurid

Interesting Fact about Mughuls that most of them Don't know.

Mughals - ruled India for around 300 years and we have read their history From Architecture to Gardens and a lot more.

But there is an unknown fact which few of them might know and few don't, the fact is related to Mughals Paternal and Maternal Lineage and which the last ruler followed.

Mughals have “Mongol” lineage, yes the name Mughal is derived from “Mongol”, they were the descendants of two Rulers.

  • From their mother's side, they were descendants of “Genghis Khan”, a cruel Mongol ruler who ruled over parts of China and Central Asia.
  • From their father's side, they were the successors of “Timur”, another tyrant from Iran, Iraq, and modern Turkey who attacked India.
  • The Mughals referred to themselves as “Timurids” as descendants of the Turkish ruler “Timur” on the paternal side.

The Mughals even celebrated their Genealogy pictorially, each ruler getting a picture made of Timur and Himself. Just take a look at this picture, in center Timur and Predecessor and Successors.

Genghis Khan was there maternal SIde - Genghis Khan founder of Mogol Empire the most contagious empire in history born in Delรผรผn Boldog, Mongolia

Timur was their Paternal Side - born in Uzbekistan and died in Kazakhstan, a Turko Mongol ruler who founded the Timurid Empire in Afghanistan.

In the year 1526 Babur, the first Mughal emperor who succeeded the throne of Ferghana (City in Uzbekistan) was forced to leave his ancestral throne due to the invasion of another Mongol group, the Uzbeks. He wandered for many years and in 1504 he seized Kabul (Capital of Afganistan).

Here Babur couldn't fight the Uzbegs but then turned towards India and defeated Ibrahim Lodi and captured Delhi and Agra in 1526.

Well, it is very clear the Mughal rulers Including Akbar were foreigners who invaded India and drained the blood and resources were foreigners and were descendants of the world's most brutal rulers like Genghis Khan and Timur. And they were proud of themselves calling as Timurids descendants.

From

Babur, Humayun Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan to Aurangjeb all the Mughal rulers were foreigners who were just lining and enjoying the Rich resources of India.

Specifically about Akbar

  1. Born in Umerkot, Pakistan he was the son of Humayun and Hamida Banu Begum.
  2. He was born in a Rajput fortress where they were living as refugees under the local leader Rana Prasad. He was raised by his uncle and aunt in Kabul, Afghanistan.
  3. He became the ruler of the Mughal empire at the age of 13 under Bairam Khan’s guidance and launched major military campaigns against Indian kings.
  4. In the last years of his reign, Akbar was distracted by the rebellion of Prince Salim (Jahangir)

Another interesting fact about the Mughal rulers, every ruler who was on the throne had to face the revolt from their own prince Only Babur ruled with no rebellion other than that

  • Babur and his son Humayun never faced any challenges for their sons, Humayun fell from the staircase and hurt his head in a short span he passed away, and then Akbar took the throne, later on, he faced a revolt from Jahangir.
  • Jahangir son of AKabar ruled for 22 years, then came Prince Khurram (Shah Jahan) who rebelled in the last years of Jahangir’s reign.
  • Shahjahan - there was a conflict over succession amongst his sons, Aurangzeb was victorious he killed his brothers and imprisoned his father for the rest of his life in Agra.
  • Aurangzeb - Prince Akbar rebelled against Aurangzeb, Akbar received support from the Marathas and the Deccan SUltanate. Aurangzeb’s death was followed by a succession conflict amongst his sons.

Please don't post any blog like this, which creates ๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ก๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š and ๐™š๐™ญ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™š๐™ข๐™ž๐™จ๐™ข!!!!
